ULID: University Logon IDentification

What is a ULID?

When you become a member of the UL Lafayette campus community, you are issued a University Logon IDentification (ULID) — your official digital identity on campus.

Before using it, you'll need to activate your ULID and create a secure password. This process ensures access to a wide range of university systems and services.

Who Manages ULIDs?

Your ULID is maintained by Office of Information Technology (OIT). If you need help with your ULID or password, the IT Service Desk is your point of contact.

What Can I Access with My ULID?

Your ULID gives you access to essential University services, including:

  • ULink – your student or employee portal
  • Moodle – the learning management system for courses
  • University Email – official communications
  • Library Resources – digital databases and materials
  • Wi-Fi Access – connect to campus internet (GeauxWifi)
  • Computer Labs & Printing Services
  • Banner Self-Service – for class registration, financial aid, and more
  • And other Campus Resources

Next Step: Activate Your ULID

Be sure to follow the activation instructions carefully. If you need help, check out our ULID Activation Guide.
